Ross will be a panelist along with other elected officials and key dignitaries as they offer their views on ways to achieve peace and justice throughout America and the world at large. The conference will be held on April 5th from 10 AM to 1PM at the Uptown library.
Ross Overby will be speaking to several hundred people at the annual Union County Donkey Dinner. The dinner will be held at the Agricultural Center near Wingate on April 21st at 6 PM.
Ross Overby has been speaking to many of the public service clubs across the region. His speech is titled "Great Nations Build Strong Children". Ross reflects upon the trials faced by his father, then just a 10 year old boy, as he was abandoned on the streets of Nashville during the depth of the depression. Ross reflects on how his father was saved and built into the man he became through the caring and help offered by the communtiy and his country. Ross truly knows that the greatness of our nation is found when we are building and educating our youth and helping people in need grow personally into productive citizens of this country.
