News Alert!  Myrick votes against small business.  The incumbent voted against the Small Business Innovative Research program and the Small Business Technology Transfer program.  These programs can create good paying jobs!  The incumbent just does not like creating jobs.   

Myrick votes against action to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS Tuberculosis, and Malaria!  The incumbent just does not like health care.

The 2008 election is one of the most important elections in our history.  It is an election where we will choose to restore our national values, we will choose to take back our Government, and we will choose to re-ignite the beacon of light that once illuminated the path to the American dream.

We will return to our core values of human dignity, justice, freedom in our person and faith, and we will once again help others in a time of crisis.

A time for Change

Ross Overby is running in the 9th District of North Carolina, a district that includes portions of Mecklenburg, Union, and Gaston Counties.  Like many challengers he is facing an incumbent long on money, but short on ideas. His opponent is at the core of the failed policies of the last decade. His opponent has delivered illegal immigration, not prevented it. His opponent has delivered a health care system where your insurance is at risk. His opponent has delivered higher taxes for the middle class, the professions, and small business owners while delivering windfall tax gifts to people taking in millions of dollars per year. 

When you think of fixing immigration, when you think of fixing our decaying infrastructure, when you think of reducing the tax burden on the poor, middle class, and the ranks or our professions and small business owners - think of Ross Overby.  


Who Is Ross Overby

Ross is a man who has lived a real life. He is not part of any political machine. He earns a paycheck, saves as much as he can to build security for his family, and invests in his family's future. He and his wife Sandra have two children - Jeremy and Claire. Ross brings real family values to Congress.

Are you worried about taxes and our deficit? Ross will bring a pragmatic vision to Congress.  Ross was Vice President at a 16,000 employee engineering company. He knows that you can’t build a strong company if you saddle it with debt and if you don’t invest in your employees. What works in business works in government. Professional History: Twenty eight years as an Environmental Engineer/Consultant. Personally led the clean up of more than twenty severely contaminated sites. Designed systems to prevent contamination of the air, water and soil.

Business Experience: Vice President at a 16,000 employee engineering company. Responsible for profit and loss. Managed multi-million dollar engineering projects. I have work experience throughout the U.S and internationally.
